The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade is one of the world’s largest and best-loved LGBTQI celebrations, a chance for all of the colours of the kaleidoscope to come together, to commemorate, celebrate, and communicate the universal message of diversity, equality, and infinite love.
Join hundreds of thousands of spectators lining the route, as 10,000 people parade with pride along Oxford and Flinders Streets in an explosion of creative and political expression, a captivating extravaganza of lavish floats, satirical statements, spectacular costumes and showstopping moments.
Last year, I designed several costumes for the festival. Here is one of the costume I designed last year for super star Miss ‘Fanny Floss’. This costume was made to measure just for her and was embellished with crystal diamantes. Miss Fanny Floss was one of the leaders of the Asian Marching Boys and Friends.
This year again, I am designing another amazing costume for Miss Fanny Floss. I can’t show you as yet, it;s a secret! But it will reveal on the day of the parade. I will do another post about the costume and the parade in the first week of March. So please stay tune.
Just want to thanks Miss Fanny Floss for the opportunity to design the costume for her last year and You will love this year costume Miss Fanny Floss.
